Elk Area Arming Questions

Does anyone have a good way of arming my house, without arming my attached garage on a certain day of the week?  I have a food delivery service that delivers every Monday and they need access to the refrigerator in the garage, but I want to keep the house armed.  My garage entry door is currently set as "Burglar Entry" zone and the door from the house to garage is set as a "Burglar Interior Nite" zone.  Also, there is not a keypad in the garage.  Thanks and looking forward to suggestions.

You can make the garage a separate area and have it arm/disarm following the house using rules; except on the day that you don't want it to arm at all - just don't.  Do it all via rules.

Honestly they're about the same - I like the separate area better for a detached garage anyway; either way you'll need to do a little work with your rules for when you do and don't want it armed and when you would or wouldn't want the status to follow whatever you're doing at the house.

It's actually an attached garage.

Yeah I guess you said that... my bad.  I'd keep the door from the garage to the house as part of the house's area.

There have been a lot of discussions in the past about the best way to handle garages, even attached garages, and I'm of the opinion that garages should be their own area anyway if you wish to arm/disarm the big doors - this lets you do crazy things like set a 10-minute delay on the big doors and not screw up the normal entry timers for the house - handy if you want to pull in and go get your mail before entering the house to disarm - yet still have some protection against forced entry.
