Elk-M1TWA (2-way listen in module) and Output 1

If I use the Elk-M1TWA (2-way listen in module), can I still connect a speaker/siren to Output 1 on the M1G?

I planned to put a speaker (no mic) in the hallway. Additionally, I have 3 other locations for speaker/mics to use with the M1TWA. So I would like to drive the hallway speaker from Output 1 and the other speaker/mics from the M1TWA module.

Bump... I finally got around to installing the M1TWA. I also have a speaker attached to output 1. When I test the voice announcements from ElkRP I can hear them from the speakers attached to the M1TWA but not the speaker attached to output 1. Is this how it's supposed to work?

OK, I don't know what happened but it's working fine! I had an ELK-73 attached to OUTPUT 1 and I replaced it with an ELK-SP12F and now I can hear the voice announcements just fine. Maybe I didn't have the wired connected well (temporary connection so they were twisted and taped). Anyway, this works as expected!
