Experience with the Elk two way listen in interface

I’m considering adding a two way listen in interface to my M1 gold so that I can have additional audio outputs. Does anyone know if the audio output to the additional speakers is the same as the main board speaker output? E.g. announcement of arm/disarm, alarming, etc.
