I bought an ELK system with the intent to re-use my existing GE ITI sensors from my Caretaker Plus system. What I have discovered is that many of my old sensors cannot be detected by the Elk receiver. When I took off the cover of my sensors, I see the model number is the same on old and new sensors, but the chip has a sticker saying ITI 15-163 and 9610 below it.
Does anyone know this problem and have an idea for a workaround. My old sensors were installed in 1996. They are crystal, use lithium batteries, and are 319.5 frequency. But for the fact they don't work, they do not look different than the existing. The model, per the cap, is 60-362
