ElkRP setup for new instal

I am installing my M1G this weekend and I am having trouble figuring out how to setup my components in ElkRP. My biggest problem is that I have no internet setup at my new house yet .

My questions are about how to setup my sensors. The naming for the different options is a bit confusing for me. Currently I have:
-Wired motion sensors
-Wired Glass break sensors
-Wireless Glass break sensors
-Wireless door switch sensors (micra-g)

There are so many options to choose from when it comes to configuration type and if it should be normally open or closed or supervised interior burglar follower??. I seem to have it working but I am worried I have it setup wrong. My question is how should I have this setup? Where can I find out what the best option is (or what they mean). I have been looking on this site and the Elk dealer site that I got a login for when I put in my serial number info, but I think I am just not using the correct keywords.

Page 30 of the Elk M1 install & programming manual PDF defines all the different zone types. For most people, the technology of the sensor (door switch, motion, glass break) is not real relevant to picking the zone type. You pick the zone type by what you want the function to be. Basically, zone type 1 for your entry doors, type 3 for windows, type 3 or 4 or 8 for glass breaks.

For wiring type, generally you want type 1, normally closed, for security sensors.

Don't confuse zone type with wiring type as they are often totally unrelated.

The manual pretty clearly spells out the differences. When all else fails, read the instructions. Do you have the manual?

Sorry, I can't believe I missed that in the manual. I am a bit worn out from the drilling through concrete and drywall
