Ok, I ordered the touchscreen off Ebay paid $120 including shipping. Cables ended up costing about $50. (50ft VGA, 45ft USB, 50ft RCA, and VGA splitter) The project was easier than I had thought. I think you just have to dive into it and make sure you don't cut the hole too big for a messy drywall repair.
Heres one pick, tell me what you think. I know have enclosed it in a black frame. It works as a digital frame, tv, or a media server for itunes to play whatever throughout the house. If you have any good suggestions for software such as controling lighting please let me know as I would like to expand the capabilities of the touchscreen. Thanks
