Well I have made the changes to my skin for the latest Elve and I have to say it has progressed nicely. I would say the J River Media Center support is all but finished and working nicely. You can browse the JRMC library and use the Playlists. Pretty much all the functionality that I have now with Netremote/Mediabridge.
