Prices are varying widely here. At one intersection yesterday, a station had $2.89/Gal, and across the intersection was $3.39! (Both Regular Unleaded).
I did find gas last night for $2.78, cheapest I have seen in a while. It still cost me over $30 to fill up a small 4Cyl Mitsubishi Eclipse! I feel for people with large trucks and SUV's!
When I was living in Phoenix a few years ago, they had a really kewl way of stopping price gouging for gas. On the morning and evening news, Mon-Fri, they would highlite the top 5 Highest prices for gas per gallon, and name the locations where you should NOT get gas! I can immagine that no station would want to be on that list for sure, so it definately helped keep the prices down.
