GE Smarthome

Does anyone know anything about the GE Smarthome products?

Our local Lowes is marking the stuff down for clearance and I picked up what essentially is a motion detector and appliance module for $12. They can each be set to 4 house codes (A-D) and 8 unit codes (1-8).

They don't respond to my x-10 remotes though....

AFAIK, they are a dying product that were all their own design. Hence the markdown...

GE's focus on HA has traditionally been to produce/sell products for/to contractors and service providers, not end users/homeowners. In the course of acquiring and reorganizing companies, they often have products that get the boot. I believe this is one of those products.
