HAI Camera Server Questions

I currently have my cameras connected to a dedicated PC with a BlueCherry 8 port card running BlueCherrys DVR software. I was considering switching to the HAI Camera Server (87A00-1) for simple integration with my OmniPro II. I was wondering what integration I will have, besides being able to view camera feeds on my OmniTouches if I get Automation Studio. Also, can I trigger events based on motion? I believe the NDVR can do this. Besides the ability to record, what is the difference between the two?

Be aware that the HAI DVR is not supported by the 5.7e screens. If the DVR software allows you to access the camera streams via MJPEG or refreshing JPEG, you may be able to get those into the 5.7e screens.
