What software are you using for this? WMC?

Going to be using it with SageTV (does require Windows Media Center installed on the SageTV machine). Worst case (i.e., Google kills off SageTV), the tuner is compatible with MythTV and some other platforms. I pay for a dedicated cablebox now, and my cable company keeps screwing around with it, to the point that my USB-UIRT doesn't always work right, tuning into the wrong channel

This would take the place of 3 cable boxes, while being able to record the HD versions of these commercial channels.

So you are using SageTV as an interface to WMC? I.E. because SageTV will not support this box natively due to content protection flags/rights issues?

There are ways of making it work with SageTV, via WMC and SageDCT. Can be a little bit tricky, but many people are using this without any problems, and it should be a lot better than my current setup.
