How do you power your M1XEP?

I saw a post on the M1 forum that suggested wiring the XEP power from the M1's VAUX. I was wondering if this was a common practice and if folks had any feedback. Thanks.

I am considering moving the XEP to the PD9 power distribution block, assuming I have enough capacity left.

Using ELK P624 (12 volt supply/charger) & PD9 (power distribution) for auxilary M1 boards and security cameras.
