How to disable perimiter beep from console

Greetings,

We have just bought a home which has a Leviton HAI system. I know a bit about computers, and a little about networks, but at zero on HAI, so please forgive any dumba-- questions.

My wife and I find the perimeter beep when doors are opened inconvenient at best and annoying at worst and I would like to disable only the door chime from the console. Window chimes are OK. I want it to remain off until I turn it back on.

Could someone please give me the sequence of key presses to accomplish this?

Thanks

P.S. Should have mentioned that 0, then 0 again silences the perimeter beep, but for everything. I only want it for the doors.

The window chimes are called "Parameter Chine" and the door chimes are "Entry/Exit Chime"

You are adjusting the chime in the console settings, but as you say, that only turns it on or off for EVERYTHING. Leave that chime turned ON unless you want to silence ALL chimes for that console. EXIT the console settings.

Now press 9 then [your code ] the 5, then scroll down to "Parameter Chine" and/or "Entry/Exit Chime"  select 1 (on) or 0 (off) and press #

So you want Parameter Chime 1 and Entry/Exit Chime 0.

In programming you can also turn on or off chimes for a console. For example, maybe you want your bedroom console off at night but only that console. You can do that.

I have exactly the reverse problem, I would like to enable entry / exit chime. I have an OP2 with two consoles attached. The Omnitouch does chime on door opening, but the Omni Console does not. I know the speaker is working on the Omni Console, because key click works. Entry / exit chime is on for the console, as above. Does entry / exit chime note work with the Omni Console?

The console beeper may be turned off.

Entry/exit and perimeter chimes are global settings in the system.

But each console beep can be silenced or enabled individually.

There may also be programming that silences a console during certain times (for instance at night).

You are absolutely correct.

I went into console setup (see page 11 of the OmniPro 2 installation guide) and enabled "sounder" for the silent console.

That did the trick, thank you.
