i need more Vizia controllers - anybody done this

Herdfan had raised this long ago, but my big (and really only) frustration with vizia has been the limit that a device can only be linked to five controllers.

I have toyed with the idea of taking the 4 zone/scene controllers apart and wiring the buttons to elk zones for additional control at locations i wish to use. Anyone done this to maintain the look/feel aspect but bypass the limitation? I realize accurately maintaining the LED states might be an issue, but sometimes i seem to have that issue with them anyway I'm not sure i can bring myself to do this on a $100+ device though... Any other options that would look good / cost less?

i definitely may be confused here but i thought it was the other way around. the node device can only be associated with 5 controllers/nodes at a time. also i thought this was a zwave limitation not necessarily leviton vizia

ya that's what i said (or meant at least) with: "device can only be linked to five controllers"

have a controller control a controller that is controlling the node then.
