Ideas to block "Unavailable" calls?

They used to sell a small device that automatically played the SIT tone out to make autodialers think your phone was disconnected. Can't seem to locate that anymore.

Hmmm, could it be the TeleZapper?

My PBX system sends unknown DID originations to "IVR Hell"; an especially diabolical series of menu options from which there is no return. My phones never ring.

The PBX I use is free (PBX in a flash), is VoIP based and works off my Vonage softphone account. It isn't as hard to set up as one might think either.

That's a great idea :D I think I'll steal it (: Do you record what menu items are selected just to see how far they go before giving up?

Matt

I bought the phone butler for a laugh. Only used it once for real, but it works great on my friends... ;)

Hey Chakara, glad to see you are still around  If you really want to conference them together, then just put some of the calls on hold, tell them their call is very important to you, and that you will get back to them in a short bit. Once other calls arrive, you can conference them together ;)
