Since so many people have been asking about what xAP is, and what can it do, Michael McShary wrote a very nice introduction guide for CocoonTech.com, explaining everything there is needed to know about this relatively new, but fast growing protocol. This is the first part of a two part series, and it is definitely worth a read, even if you aren't a technical person, so take a few minutes out of your busy schedule and take a look at it.

That's a nice intro to xAP. I just started sniffing at it for Tivo messenging as per a recent M McShary post. Of course anything regarding a Tivo takes a lot of reading to get to the essentials for any modification. Once you find the doc, the procedure is usually simple. Hopefully the xAP YAC upgrade will go simple!
