Insteon Device Programing Software

Was using a few insteon switches and have now increased the number used

It is getting more difficult to program these manually

Looking for some good software to program them with a PC

I do have a USB PLC module but it not sure if it was the right item to purchase now

Just looking for some guidance

At some point I may look into some pc based controlling software but for now I would be happy with a good programing setup

You should look into the ISY by Universal Devices.

Powerhome is also a viable option along with the ISY. Powerhome is PC based. The ISY is a stand alone device.

And, if you have a Mac, check out Indigo. It will allow you to remotely manage links in all devices, and since you have the 2414U PLC, it will also upload basic triggers and schedules to it so it can run without being connected to a computer. I think Indigo is the only software on the market that will upload to the PLC.

I use Insteon Explorer - works great and is free.
