Jetstream Appliance

Does anyone have a solution for lack of a Jetstream appliance module? I want to control something that's 600 watts. It's close to my ELK panel, so I could use that if necessary.

You could use a 110v relay (rated for enough amps for your situation) and let an ELK dry contact control it. That is probably the easiest method.

If you want to use Jetstream, you can use a Jetstream relay switch. You can sort of make it an appliance module by putting it in front of an outlet in a dual gang box or something. But if it's close to the panel and you can pull a wire to it, a relay like Brian mentioned works well. I would look at the Relay In a Box (RIB).

I actually just got a few myself. The model you most likely want is the RIBU1C and this is where I got them and is probably the least expensive.

As an example of what I'll be using one for... I have one of those color changing LED pool lights. It uses a series of on/off to toggle the colors/modes. I could not get UPB or other stuff to switch fast enough, so I am going to connect it to a RIB and turn it on/off via an Output. On my CQC interface I have a popup that shows all the colors and modes so you just press what you want and it will do the on/off the appropriate # of times.

I have not yet use an appliances of Jetstream appliance. I think it is better if you will ask the manufacturer of Jetstream appliance itself. Good luck!
