I will be installing electric door strikes and classroom locksets on my doors (always locked from the outside but you can open the door from the inside), however, I would like to use a Prox/Combination Keypad device in case we lock ourselves out without a fob/card.
Does the prox hookup to the keypad only support the Elk Prox reader or will any Weigand device work? I don't even know if I am using the terms correctly and if I am not, please read past my ignorance.
