Keypadlinc with Table Top enclosure - Button A not working?

I recently got a couple table top enclosure for my Keypadlinc V2 (the one that supports Insteon however I'm using it for X10 only) but it appears that Button A (the top left one) is not sending the X10 signal. I know this is the button that controls the Line but my understanding is that at the same time, it will also send the X10 signal. Otherwise, it would defeat the purpose of a table top enclosure for the Keypadlinc as obviously, nothing can be connected on the Line. Can anyone tell me what I have done wrong?

Many thanks

Are you sure you got the device with the correct house and unit code working? Can you use any standard X10 controllers to control that particular device? Check with the manual for the KeyPadLinc V2.

Note though, I don't have a KeyPadLinc (either wall or table top enclosure), so I may not be of much help.

That's strange. Is A the only button not sending an x10 code? What code do the other ones send?

Did you cap the load wire? The red one should not be connected to anything.

Button A sends an Insteon command without a load connected, so it stands to reason it would for x10.
