Learning Sensor with ElkM1G/ElkRP/NX-548E

Is there a way to learn a tx ID from a sensor using the M1G, NX-548E, and ElkRP? My sensor is a recessed installation, and unfortunately I don't have the ID written down. Thank you.

To manually learn a GE RF transmitter, goto installer menu 14, submenu 3. Select the zone to learn the transmitter into. On the recessed transmitter, you have to unscrew the cap to trigger the tamper which will send the learn signal into the M1.

Ah, so it can't be done in RP. Thank you though, after exclusively using RP, I forgot the M1G can be programmed through the keypad! :blink:

Will the transmitter show up in RP if I sync? Thanks again...

Yes, after manually learning the transmitter via the keypad, upload the M1 wireless data into ELK RP.
