LG Electronics has unveiled their version of the robotic vacuum cleaner: The RoboKing. The device has 22 gyro-sensors to improve navigation, and is able to turn before bumping into walls and avoid falling off the stairs. The unit can be programmed and/or controlled by a remote.

It will be priced around $1,435, which is cheaper than the expensive Electrolux Trilobite model. While I am not sure if people are willing to invest that much into vacuum, it's a clear sign that more companies are working on making robots part of our life.
