A friend of mine has an LG55UB9500 that he got as a display model. No remote. Not sure what he is using for a remote but he discovered that some of the features are locked (parental control?) and hasn't been able to reset it. Even talked to LG who suggested several remote key sequences to do a hard reset, etc - none worked. I looked in the manual and don't see anything about parental controls. Think he is using a firestick or similar and that works. But he isn't able to set up the antenna connector input. Apparently there is a 4 digit PIN needed. A script to send all 9999 codes wouldn't be too hard to do but the key would be how to automatically determine when a code worked so it could work unattended. Any suggestions?
