Liquid Electrical Tape?

Hi,

Has any one here tried Plasti Dip 'Liquid Electrical Tape' for waterproofing HB (or other) PCBs? I've used it for connections, but I notice that the blurb also mentions "circuit boards".

I'll be installing the boards in an IP65 box (IP55 if I decide to drill out the drain hole) but Skye is a pretty 'moist' place (according to my weather station the long term average relative humidity is around 80%) so something extra seems to be in order.

You can use Liquid Electrical Tape just make sure to not cover things like the humidity or pressure sensors or get it in the connectors. All the other chips including the temperature sensor can be covered.

Thank you, that's what I hoped to hear.

I was aiming to avoid the connectors, the outdoor humidity chip will be 'off board', and the pressure sensor will stay indoors. I'll feel happier with the rest sealed away from the moisture (and salt air too as we are less than a mile from the sea in 3 directions).
