Looking for Z-wave recommendations

I just bought and installed the 2Gig z-wave thermostat and am looking to buying a controller to start my home automation set-up. I'm wondering if people can weigh in with their opinion on the Mi Casa Vera (may wait to see what version 3 lite has) or Homeseer. I'd like to start off with controlling the thermostat, a few lights, maybe a new DSC or Elk security panel, and maybe my garage door. One key feature I'm looking for is good iPhone support. Any opinions or suggestions for me?
