The other night, we lost our internet and/or phone line. The keypads starting beeping that their was a phone line issue and I double checked by picking up the phone and line was dead.
This is a good feature because you can know if someone might be tampering with your phone line to attempt to break in, though not sure if thieves around us are that smart....
We have cellular as primary, phone as backup, so it is not too much of a concern.
HOWEVER, it is REALLY annoying when it is just a temporary glitch with ISP/phone company, when we are trying to sleep.
Does anyone know if there is a way to silence this beeping? System is an Elk m1
