Make the M1G's internal-speaker siren quiet?

Is there any way to adjust the siren volume of the M1GSYS4's bundled speaker and reduce it to roughly the loudness of a ringing phone or doorbell (to avoid pissing off the neighbors while installing and testing the system)?

I wrapped it in a towel and stuck it in a plastic container with a tight-fitting lid. That muffled it enough to allow me to test the M1 without disturbing the neighbours.

Within ElkRP change all the settings in globals G14-G18 (Output 1) to 1. Even then it's fairly loud so I still ended up covering the speaker in a moving blanket to muffle the sound while testing.
