and he takes 'best offer' so you shouldn't be paying $9.95. i offered $7 and got accepted. 18 have been sold since i first posted about it.

The trip point is adjustable too. This could be really important if you are trying to monitor something that only goes into standby mode and doesn't normally turn off 100%. You can adjust the trip point to be aboce the standby threshold.
 
damage, many thanks for lead. I just bought six of them. Split-core, adjustable trip point, status LED, and negotiable price all helped to seal the deal.
 
So if you wrap the wire twice, that would reduce the current needed to trip the contact,....correct?

Sounds like he's getting smarter. He refused a $8/ea X 4 offer from me. He's 'considering' a $9/ea X 4 offer now. Hope he takes it.

Too many people are buying too quickly, so now he thinks its more of a sellers market.

He accepted my offer of 4 @ $9 plus $11.84 s&h. Now all I have to do is figure out where I'm going to use them.

Mine arrived this afternoon! I live about 15 miles from them...

These things are very nice. They are a snap to setup, I clipped the sensor over the fan wire. The split core is really nice to work with! Then I turned on the fan to the furnace. The Open LED lit. A bunch of turns on the calibration screw until the Closed LED lit and you are good to go Luckily I had a spare wire close to the furnace. About an hour later it was integrated into my HomeVision system, real time plots and web access... gotta like that!

Washer and drier are next!
 
i got mine pretty fast too but only just had some time to install a couple - for the washer & a tv. the split core is REALLY nice to have. the seller has apparently let the success of this auction go to his head and is now selling these for $49!!! :blink:
