multiple sound annunciator/output module from OmniPro II?

Looking for a flexible module that I could use for different sounds for 3 doorbell and 2 or more driveway sensors, to be driven by omnipro II.

Any suggestions?  Could use 5 outputs from HAI if it had discreet inputs, but serial control I'm imagining would be more flexible without losing the ports?

USB interface to allow loading sound files would be nice but could probably pick 5 acceptable sounds if had decent prerecorded library.

Would be grateful for any suggestions!!!

Thanks,
Jeff

You could build a simple project, maybe with an Arduino to take serial commands and output various tones. Or you could add a HAI voice board and say different things. You can also make beeps with that but the types of sounds are somewhat limited.

Thanks.  didn't know about that board.  but if I can't upload custom sounds (if not a library of chimes etc) that would be less ideal for me

was looking at:
ELK-MV480

and serial port control.  Anyone know a reason that wouldn't work?

No time for arduino project but would love to someday!

what is the  name (or maybe the number/) of that HAI board?  I find the "Two-Way Audio/Voice Alarm Module" but that seems to serve a different purpose?

HAI Part number is: 10A11-1.

I personally  use it on my OmniPro II. Very easy to install & plug. From there, You may register voice messages from your Home phone connected to your controler. or a mic. connected to the unit. (Use Phrases). Then, simply link your registered messages (phrases) using PC Access. You may need external speaker to hear the messages. As an example. I recorded 2 different phrases as follow and I get a voice message advising my Patio door has remained open while AC is in operation.

Phrase 32 (2 sec.) Attention! followed by:
Phrase 49 (8 sec. Your patio door has remained open for more than 3 minutes, while Air Conditioner is running.

In PC Access it is linked to one particular program block (Automation) using ...then: Message -  Say - Phrase xx

Hope this may help.

Get the Elk-124. You can record any sound you want then trigger it with a relay output.

We use a lot of these at one site for overhead paging upon panic button press (hospital)

Can record direct into it or pick up a Elk 129 and go direct via PC. Haven't noticed too much in the way of sound quality difference.
