New Automation System?

It looks like the old Colorado Vnet System. Colorado Vnet filed for BK last year (I think it was last year). It looks like the founders held the IP and re-launched under a new business model.

Well it seems that the HAI unit is the "central processor" - it that is the case it is not the most capable of home automation systems. Not bad but not the best. In more then other brand one home automation system, the HAI would be used as just the security part of the system.

My experience with Luxul has not been good - pricey but average performance.

The talk about a gigabit router AND a 10,000 sq ft "router" - I think they mean 10,000 sq ft WAP (wireless access point). It is not likely that in a home environment you need more then one router. And I really doubt that you can cover 10,000 sq ft.

What is the Nimbus Echo tablet these guys are using?  ...And, how are the mounting it in the wall???  It seems that this (a 7 inch in-wall tablet) is what a lot of DIYers are looking for.

$10,200 for the base system?  That doesn't even include any of the stuff that actually makes it useful.

No thanks.

Looks like they are using a 3D printer to print out enclosures for wall mounting. So it isn't an in-wall touchscreen per se.

Overall, seems pretty expensive to me.
