NextAlarm.com zones

Hey all I have a bit of a problem with NextAlarm.  I am a bit confused because I am using ContactID to report to them from my omnipro ii.  I associated the information in my system for example it used D1 as zone 64.  But when I received a notice today from enotify it said Zone 64 without the name.  This is very strange and when I emailed them for help they told me just to associate zone 64 with the correct name.  I am confused - any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated?

Thanks!

NextAlarm has an online form where you define the name and action for each of your zones. NextAlarm has no idea what each of your zones are unless you tell them.  If zone 1 is a fire zone, then you need to tell them the name and define it you want a fire responce if it is triggered. Have you completed that form? Usually they won't even monitor your system until they approve that form. How else would they know what zone 64 is if you don't tell them?

I understand but I am confused why they are using the "normal DCM" zone number and not the DCM coordinating number that is hexidecimal?

Also is nextalarm only going with broadband adapters and no phone lines anymore?

Thanks,

Neil

I don't know if they still allow dialup, but the IP adapter must be much more cheaper for them. At one time they charged extra to use the adapter, just like the phone company use to charge extra for touch tones.
