Has anyone ever tried this to filter noise from an exterior source? With UPB, I understand, that they work off different protocals but I have had success filtering a TV using a X-10 filter allowing the unit in the bedroom on the same circuit to begin working consistantly.

I should get one and test on a home that has exterior noise, I just wondered if any of had already.

It uses one "leg" of the phase, which has the noise to cancel noise on the other (reverse phase) and vice versa.... may solve a variety of noise problems. Simpler noise devices may also work because of the frequences involved and the impedance factors that influence noise and how effectively it can be filtered at different physical points.
