NUVO GRAND CONCERTO WIRING

Guys,
I'm bout to wire my speakers for NUVO grand concerto. I know that each channel is capable of 8ohms. So, I can home run 2 pair of 14/2 wires for rooms with 1 pair of speaker. My question now is how do I wire rooms with 2 pairs of speakers. If I wire them in parallel, I will end up with 4ohms and if I wire it in series I will end up in 16ohms per pair. Has anyone ever wire more that one pair to nuvo? please help. thanks

I was just wiring up speakers this past weekend. Check out this link http://www.bcae1.com/spkrmlti.htm Sounds like you need to do series/parallel wiring to get the correct ohms or and in a resistor.

parallel - 4 ohmes is ok if you are only doing it in one zone. They nuvo can tolorate one or two zones wired to 4 ohms. If you really want to do it right you get one of the Nuvo amps and take your pre out put it to the 110w amp and wire that to the zone. When I wire more than one set of speakers to a zone depending on the speakers it tends to make it not sound as good sucks alot of power.
