Hi there.
I have an upcoming chance to grab quite a few of these dual tech occupancy detectors at a fraction of the normal price.
They run on 12v, only pull about 4ma each and have a low voltage relay built in.
It uses PIR AND microphonics for really good detection. They seem to work well where they are installed.
Has anyone used one of these connected to an automation panel? They look ideal for this but a little on the expensive side at around $100/e discounted.

My problem is that I don't think I have it in me to run a bunch of wire in my attic for these since they are ceiling mounted. My attic is all trusses and has a 2nd layer of insulation running opposite the joists to increase the insulation. I would want about 20 of them installed and that seems way too hard
