OMNI IIe + VRC0P-1LW + Somfy ZRTSI + AeonLab Multisensor 6

Hi All,

I have a question regarding z-wave compatibility between the OMNI IIe and various z-wave devices using the VRC0P-1LW as the z-wave bridge:
  1. Somfy ZRTSI
    - Will the OMNI IIe recognize all the Somfy commands being translated to z-wave?
    - Does the OMNI IIe periodically poll the Somfy motor for status?
  2. AeonLab Multisensor 6
    - Will the OMNI IIe recognize all the AeonLab status': motion detection, temp, humidity, light, etc?
I've been reading that the OMNI IIe (via the VRC0P-1LW) is not completely compatible with all z-wave devices which is why I am asking these questions?

Thanks,
  Randy

Somfy ZRTSI
- probably not with the Omni - VRC0P combination.

No.

It is the base design of the Omni Series combination panel to not utilize  Z-Wave / Zigbee motion sensors and most likely never work in the near future.

Here have wired security sensors to my OmniPro panels and security wireless sensors connected to the HAI security wireless transceivers.

I also utilize a Z-Wave VRC0P and Zigbee ZIM on the OP2 panel for lighting (optionally Omnitstat and door locks only).

I also utilize wired HAI temperature and HAI combination temperature and humidity sensors (indoors and outdoors).

Thanks pete_c!
Got it for z-wave motion detectors. I am surprised about the somfy ZRTSI though. The latest OMNI IIe update includes a fix for a somfy command.

Thanks,
Randy

Yes; this is related to Somfy using a Omni serial port.

- Controller firmware 3.16 released:
    - Fixed Somfy SDN stop command not working.

There are a few users here today using the Somfy serial devices.

Thinking it uses the RS-485 serial protocol and power from the HAI serial port or the RS-232 serial protocol.  Not really sure.
