OmniStat2 Cooling not working (locks up)

Experts i need some help!

I got two OmniStat2 RC-1000's today. I have two systems in my house. On both of the systems the fan and heating works great, but when i turn the cooling on the thermostat it clicks the signal and then locks up. None of the buttons work. Every 15 seconds it sends another click but the AC never turns on. The same problem is going on on both units.

I have read that if the system resets and I don't have a common wire (which I don't) I will need to purchase the thermostat power supply. The system isn't reseting though and my heater works great.

Any help would be appreciated

Scratch that problem is fixed. I had 5 wire cable ran. The fix was to setup the 5th wire on the common connection. It did turn out to be a power problem. Both units are working now.
