Omnistat2 Fan Cycle Doesn't

I have a Omnistat2 RC-2000 thats been running great for about 18 months. It used on a American Standard 16 2 stage heat-pump with heatstrips for backup.

As things got cooler this year, I decided to try the Fan mode on Cycle instead of Auto to keep house temperature more even. Never used it before but seemed like a good idea, and it is set for 10 minutes on 10 minutes off.

When I first set it to cycle I heard the relay click and the fan came on, I thought neat its working.

After a few days I realized my fan has never shut off, it basically is acting like it is in On mode not Cycle. I set it back to Auto, fan went off until needed. Back on Cycle fan came on and stayed on, I timed it to be sure, at 10 minutes it just keeps going.

Only other issues I have noticed are the date is not set properly by the Omni its connected to but the time is. Also the Runtime graph seems to be inaccurate only showing runtime on week 0, all other weeks are zero runtime.

Anyone see this before? I am going to assume the number on the thermostat address page at the top left is firmware or hardware revision, it says 1.00B on mine. My Omni is at firmware 2.15a currently. There are no programs in the thermostat currently.

I realize this post is almost a year old and the original poster might have already moved on but I am having the exact same problem. Has this been addressed somewhere on the forums or was it fixed by the OP?

Never got any response.

Seems like it works properly in heat mode, but in cool mode doesn't cycle.

Just wasn't that important for me to pursue, HAI is pretty opaque about firmware upgrades to the Omnistat, probably need to send it in to upgrade, if they have any changes.
