OmniStat2 No Longer Communicating With OIIe

I installed my OIIe and OmniStat2 early in the year when it was cold (it is setup for heat only) and everything worked great. It is now starting to get cold again and I noticed the thermostat is not fully communicating with the OIIe. It is displaying the outdoor temp, but I can no longer control the thermostat through PCA, 5.7e, or programming. Also, if I change a setting at the thermostat that setting is not reflected on the 5.7e or in PCA. I tried resetting the OIIe (removing power) and pulling the face off the thermostat (not sure if that really resets it or not) and its still the same.

Any suggestions?

Check the communications setting in the thermostat. Verify that the thermostat is in serial mode and not day/night mode. Check the thermostat address in the thermostat and verify that the address matches the thermostat address in the Omni IIe. Check the wiring to the thermostat.

The address is the same in the OIIe and the thermostat. The thermostat is set to serial communication mode. I checked the wires on the thermostat and on the OIIe and they are all connected correctly and securely. Is there a way to test the wiring?

Just got off the phone with HAI tech support (very helpful btw). Turns out output 8 on my main board is bad. I have to send the board in for service. ;)
