I have the cat5 camera module from OnQ Legrand (http://www.onqlegrand.com/products/CM1001) and it suddenly stopped producing any video output. The green power LED is pulsing/blinking about once per second. Can anyone suggest how I might troubleshoot this? I no longer have the manual for this and can't find much online.

Thanks,
Alan

The power LED pulsing is not good. That power light should be steady on if the module is getting proper power. Have you taken a voltage reading off of the power supply? The module requires 12v and 800ma of current. I would recommend using a volt meter and getting a reading off of the power supply to verify it is putting out the proper voltage. You may want to try an alternate power supply to see if that makes any difference even if that checks out. If yuou're still getting the same pulsing green LED for power, the module is likely defective and will need to be replaced.

Ooooooooooooh!

OnQ Tech Support, on Cocoontech?

Welcome!

You may want to call his module broken, rather than 'defective'. ^_^

Do you troubleshoot ALC, Romier?

Romier, thanks. The power supply voltage read OK but I went ahead and replaced it with a 12V 1A adapter and it's back to working great now.

Thanks for your help!
Alan
