OP II Zone Loop

In Dealer PC Access on the Status/Control tab and Zones one of the columns is "Loop".  Based on the numbers I'm seeing it appears to be a reading of the zone's wiring resistance based on a 8 bit (0-255) number system.

Correct?  If I'm right, what exactly does half scale (in the range of 127 to 129) mean?  What are the numbers that produce an alarm and zone OK?

Thanks.

A loop value of 127-129 indicates a closed loop.  Depending on the overall setup of the controller, this would be an Alarm state (device is normally open, using a 1K resistor in parallel), OR, a Secure state (device is normally closed, with no resistor).

The above is just a general overview example, as the setup can affect the above statement.  If you email Leviton support at [email protected] and ask them, they will provide you with more specific details.

That website is wonky. If you refresh a couple of times it comes up.

The HAI knowlege base article is number 106, but you need a dealer login to access that article.
This site above is a port of the information on the HAI site.
It lists all of the loop reading windows and their meanings to the controller.
