I thought I'd start a thread where people could post available, off the shelf options for in wall and handheld Premise touch screens.
AFL-412AW-ATOM-N270 option looks attractive to me, but is $1398 still. It uses the Intel Atom processor.
Top of my list right now is this one:
Sleek Buttonless touch screen option for $749 direct from samsung
Operating System Genuine Windows® XP Tablet Edition
Processor Processor VIA Nanoâ„¢ ULV U2500 (1.2 GHz)
Memory System Memory 2 GB DDR2 667 MHz
Graphic Graphics VIA Chrome9 HC
Storage HDD 60 GB - 1.8 HDD
Communication Wireless LAN 802.11 b/g wireless
Bluetooth Bluetooth v2.0 wireless
Power Standard Battery 4-cell lithium ion
Physical Dimension (W x D x H) 8.12†x .94†x 4.81â€
Weight 1.43 lbs.
Warranty Warranty 1 year standard parts and labor
high resolution
The Q1EX stands out from the rest with its 7" wide LCD touch screen. Its 1024 x 600 resolution and 300 nits of brightness add up to an incredible viewing experience. Will 1024x600 look good with Premise... Hmm...?
I'm really only looking for xp/vista based devices. XP embedded would work I'm guessing as it would also have activex support and must suport atleast 800x600 (you can always use 123's trick to modify the automation browser size if the pc is natively larger than 800*600, but not if it's smaller). I'll post some more links as I do more research, but I'm hoping some others will chime in  For the handheld touchscreen, I'd prefer to get something new as I don't want to use a stylus (fingers are better) and really want to buy a low power device (running intel atom or something similar).
