Anyone have any great recommendations to control Lutron's new Radio Ra 2?
I think that's going to be my best bet for a retro application.
I'm looking at SavantAv. . Anyone have any experience?
Or. .I'm open to other options for the HA part. . .The Radio Ra 2 doesn't
come with software but I'd like to program some settings around times.
Thanks in advance,

Most of the major controller manufacturers have or will have the ability to control RA2 - Control4, Savant, Crestron, AMX, RTI, NetStreams, etc.

I doubt that your control choice will be affected by RA2. Talk to your custom installer about it, if you have one.

I'm confused, does homeseer support RadioRA 2? I can't find this documented anywhere. If not, what is the estimated date of support? That is really what is important here, not info about the old radioRA plug-in. That has issues that are already well documented.

I came across a list, dated 2/5/10, of third-party driver availability.

Available 'now':
1. RTI
2. SAVANT
3. ELAN
4. AMX
5. PHILIPS
6. HOMELOGIC
7. CONTROL4

Coming soon:
1. CRESTRON
2. URC
3. HAI
4. UEI
5. NETSTREAMS

Gents,
I have decided to go with the RA2 only for right now.
I'm going to see what develops on the Savant side of things with the iPad. ..
The trueimage technology is awesome. . . A 5-800 touchpanel?? sounds great right?
Thank you for all the input though. . .this is a very informative crew.

Does anyone know how much the typical RA2 light switch will cost? Can anyone buy the hardware, or do you need to be a dealer?

Anyone can buy the hardware, you do not need to be a dealer.

The basic 600W dimmer is $XXX at my local electric supply store.

Retail is $150.

Edit - what's up with the mods, deleting all prices? :D
