Can someone please expliain the reporting codes? Ive read the manual over and over, and Im still not sure what they do, or how to use them. Any help would be AWESOME!

Can someone please expliain the reporting codes? Ive read the manual over and over, and Im still not sure what they do, or how to use them. Any help would be AWESOME!

They are used to report status information to the central station (NextAlarm, etc) over the phone and usually follow a standard format (contactID) etc. They tell what type of alarm, trouble, zone type etc.

If you don't have central station monitoring you don't need to worry about them. If you use one they will give you information on how to configure this.
