Reset 2414S?

I was using PowerHome to make some new Insteon groups and links, and then I noticed that things weren't working quite right. I restarted PH and noticed that the SDM log was not recording anything new. Each time I start the SDM, this is all I get:

Note that there are no links recognized, even though there are really quite a lot of links. It really seems like the PLC (2414S) is locking up or something like that. How do you reset the 2414S? Should I be looking at something else?

When did you last reboot the computer? On TechMall, several people reported weirdness with their timer systems not firing or allowing direct device control on January 1, returning to normal on Jan. 2. Sounds like a calendar rollover bug to me, possibly in the sdm. SmartHome recently updated the sdm as an auto-update and it may be related.

Try cutting power to the PLC and rebooting the PC. If that doesn't fix it, try reloading the timercoreapp. Only do a total PLC reset if none of the above works, as it'll mean you have to re-link all your devices to the controller.

I've actually rebooted several times. I tried reloading timercoreapp, that didn't work either. Relinking everything isn't that big of a deal, but I don't know how to factory reset the PLC. I've tried holding the set button with the PLC plugged in and unplugged for various lengths of time, but I still have the problem. I am starting to think that my PLC is fried.

If the PLC is a firmware 2.12 or older, Smarthome has a free exchange program that allows you to trade your existing one for a 2.13 version.

My PLC has 2.13. You know, the really funny thing is, the ISRESPONDING command is returning TRUE, but none of these programs seem to be able to talk to it (SALad Downloader, PowerHome, Group Commander). One thing I haven't tried is creating links the old fashioned way (tap-tap).
