I can not connect to my M1 panel using dial up and the ELKRP version 2.0.4. I have an ACER laptop running windows Vista Service Pack 2 with a HDAUDIO Soft Data Fax Modem with Smart CP. I think it is a windows connection problem but any suggestions would be appreciated. I can hear that the panel answers, verifies pass words but can’t seem to make a connection and drops the line. I can connect to the panel with the RS232 direct connection.
Is there a suggested external modem that works with out issue ?
Any suggestions on board rate or connection settings would be appriciated.
