Satellite Internet Access Advice Needed

Is anyone here using satellite internet services such as Hughes net, or possibly Dish with television and internet access?  I know this is the last resort, but sometimes it is the 'only' resort.
 
Interested in the Carolinas for this remote service.  Read a lot of reviews, but curious of experiences from our forum members.

Looks like there are many happy campers so far using StarLink.  Monthly pricing is around $100 and hardware purchase is around $500.  New smaller antennas are being tested.
