Scene Lighting

I am trying to set up scene lighting in my house and was going to go with the Insteon switchlinc 2476D's. The only problem is it looks like there is only a tabletop controller to active the scenes and not a handheld device. As I dont want to spend $300 on a pronto right now are there any other solutions? Do any other product lines have scene capable lighting that offer handheld controllers? Thank you.

well you need the hand held remote.

Will the cheaper intermatic switches ($45) enable me to do scenes or do I have to buy the expensive switches ($95)?
