The Ocelot can only record about 100 bits of IR data, so you won't get very far if you're trying to somehow record a complete message. Also, you cannot find out what the IR frequency is with the Ocelot, since the IR receiver demodulates the signal directly.

I ran a port sniffer while running the app, and it establishes a connection with the com port @ 600bps, and sends it as ascii to the serial port, so I guess there isn't much I can do. These badges look really great tho.

Hey guys...i actually got the buckel but now im trying to figure out how to put it on a belt...lol...Does anyone know how to put it on a belt? help please!!!

On IR learning, isn't the global cache one supposed to be good? I recall hearing positive comments but no details on this. Not sure if anyone has tried it.

It may have similar limitations though. No time to read up at the moment though.

no, it looks like IR is just used as a transport medium, not a protocol :angry:
