Here is my big delema and i need help.

My ELK M1 is on pretty much all day either in the stay or the night mode. When I go to sleep I arm the system NIGHT mode. Another day my contractor came at 6:30 and I did not hear the entry delay beeping sound ( deep sleep). So the alarm went off.

What I want is to enable speaker (output 1) to beep when the following is true (i want to be awake when someone attempts to do something) :

• The system is armed NIGHT mode
• The entry delay is active ( someone opened something)

I do not want to call the monitoring system just yet, but I want to be aware that someone opened a door, window or garage door.

I also wonder how many people actually use NIGHT INSTANT mode. Is it prefered way to ensure the monitoring company responds quickly? I fear that I will forget and open the door to take the garbage out and will forget to disarm.

Any suggestions?

Create an "announce" rule, assuming your speaker is able to be heard from where you are sleeping/located.
