I'm trying to setup a SAUS2-80TP 8 button desktop keypad to control my Somfy IWT shade through my HAI OPII. Ideally I'd like to use the "super multi-button" feature of this keypad so a single button can make the shade go all the way up, down, or press-and-hold (or double press) to use the fading feature so the shade will move up or down for as long as I hold the button down.
So far I've created two OPII automation commands that get a single button to increment up or down in about 1/8 full scale steps. Below are the two commands. One press makes it step up, double press makes it step down. Holding down (fade?) does nothing.
When UPB Link 1 ON then Shade BRIGHT 1
When UPB Link 1 OFF then Shade DIM 1
Not bad, but I would probably need to allocate one more button and command for full up and another for full down. A total of 3 button and 4 commands.
Is there a better way to do this so I can use a single keypad button?
I'm only moderately experienced with UPB and the OPII so any help would be appreciated.
